Angel's Herald: Best Practice: Shopwise

Best Practice: Shopwise

I found this little canvass bag on my brother's hamper. It's the new Shopwise Grocery Bag. It's quite cool 'cause I just happen to blog a Green Entry before this post about using reusable materials, especially textile totes rather than plastic bags.

I am not sure if Shopwise is the first grocery store to do this little contribution to the growing demands of going green, as much as possible. Kudos to them! This is an example of a best CSR (corporate social responsibility) practice that others should copy, it's a small and simple undertaking, but considering the number of their customers, it really is a big contribution to the conservation of our resources!

On the other hand, I have this weird attraction with canvass totes.. I'll blog about them someday.

In the US they have almost in all supermarkets those kind of bags to buy.
I worked at K-mart too this summer and I can tell you that 100s of plastic bags are giving every day.
